RTD-NET and RTD-10 interfaces can be powered from indoor units or from external power supply.
Power supply from indoor units
The RTD requires a 15V to 24VDC power connection. Power can be supplied from VRV indoor unit PCB X18A or X35A connection, a Skyair indoor unit PCB X35A connection or VAM PCB X11A connection. A 1m cable and connector is supplied with the RTD. For further information regarding power supply from the indoor units please contact Daikin Technical Support.
How many units can be supplied by the same indoor unit?
Please contact Daikin Technical Support for this information, as they know better the power load that can be applied to their indoor unit's PCB (X18A or X35A).
Can an external power supply be used?
An auxiliary or external power supply can be used.
There is no specific power supply we recommend. You can use any power supply which satisfies the specifications mentioned in the RTD-NET and RTD-10 installation instructions.
Where on the RTD interface is power supply connected?
Please use only the the '0V V+' terminal.
