If the BRC wired remote controller is the MAIN P1P2 device then the indoor unit's Field Setting 12(22)-5 will determine whether the unit is restarted.
If a RTD-NET is used and set as P1P2 MAIN then the connected indoor units will switch ON after power Off (e.g. power failure), regardless of Field Setting and state prior to power off.
*Exception: RTD-RA: When connected via S21 to the indoor unit the Auto-restart function may be deactivated. Refer to Daikin Technical Support for further information.
Note that if no BRC is wired then the RTD-NET will automatically be the MAIN P1P2 device and the indoor unit will switch ON after power failure.
In this case a solution to switch off the indoor units has to be implemented on your BMS (e.g. via Modbus or hardwired contacts) system.
