To change Modbus communication parameters: FDP3 baud rates and parity can be configured using the DIP switches, instructions attached.
Default values are:
- Baud rate: 9600
- Parity: None
- Stop Bits: 1 (cannot be changed)*
*1 stop Bit: If your system doesn't allow to set 1 stop bit for parity = 'none', try by changing parity to ODD or EVEN and then configuring your system to 1 stop bit.
**Note: The maximum baud rate supported is 19200.
Procedure (see attached file) to set the baud rate and/or parity:
- Enter Field Programming mode
- DIP switch 4: ON (up)
- Enter RS485 configuration
- DIP switch 4: OFF (down)
- Repower the device
