DIP switches
To operate RTD-10 interfaces in Duty/Standby mode set the DIP switches as follows:
- All RTD-10 interfaces:
- The first two DIP switches must be ON
- Duty/Standby Master :
- DIP switches 5 - 8: OFF
- If of all RTD-10 interfaces only 1 is to be in standby mode: DIP switches 3 and 4 must be OFF
- If of all RTD-10 interfaces 2 are to be in standby mode: DIP switch 3 must be OFF, and DIP switch 4 must be ON.
- Duty/Standby Slaves:
- DIP switches must be given addresses 1 - 7 using DIP switches 5 - 8. If there are less than 7 slaves then start the addressing at 1 and allocate each slave consecutively upwards (only up 7 Duty/Standby slaves allowed).
- Note that the address is set in the binary system.
- RTD-RA as a Duty/Standby slave:
- DIP switches 1, 3, 4, 5: OFF
- DIP switch 2: ON
- DIP switches 6, 7, 8: For setting the network address (in the range 1 - 7)
Example:
