The RTD-W allows control of Daikin Atherma HT hydroboxes (heating only and reversible), small inverter chillers (EWA/YQ16..64 series) and VRV heating only hydroboxes.
The interface is compatible with all units that are operated using a BRC21 remote controller network connection. The RTD-W allows Modbus control of all control functions available on the BRC944 remote controller.
- The RTD-W allows control of up to 16 units in a single group (i.e. wired to the same RTD-W). Note that a command is broadcast to the whole group of units wired to the same RTD-W (individual control is not possible when units are wired to the same RTD-W).
Control is possible with either Modbus, or hardwired inputs and Voltage (inputs S1 - S6), or with both (Modbus and hardwired inputs) simultaneously.
- A BRC21 remote controller must be connected on the P1P2 network and configured as MAIN. It is not possible for the RTD-W to work without BRC21.
- All available Modbus registers are listed in the RTD-W installation instructions. There are no additional control/monitoring registers.
